ALEXANDRIA, VA, December 6, 2019 – Northport Affiliates, LLC is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a 5-Year Insurance Consulting, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract solicited under the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) open market for federal government contract opportunities valued at over $25,000.

Northport’s 5-year, $2 million contract provides professional insurance consultation, risk management and business advisory support services to the National Park Service (NPS) Commercial Services Program.

Teaming with Northport on the proposal effort and supporting the National Park Service’s professional consulting needs are Hotel and Leisure Advisors (H&LA), Cleveland, OH and GME Enterprises, LLC, Chevy Chase, MD.  H&LA is an international hospitality consulting firm specializing in appraisals, feasibility studies, operational reviews, impact analyses, economic and environmental impact studies and litigation support for hotels, resorts, waterparks, casinos, conference and convention centers, golf courses, ski resorts and other hospitality and leisure real estate.  GME Enterprises, LLC is a minority, woman-owned management consulting and professional services firm that offers industry-leading knowledge and specialized capabilities for risk management, business advisory services, operations management and housing finance advisory services.

Northport’s subject matter experts provide the NPS Commercial Services Program expertise with insurance products and the insurance industry that includes commercial general liability, automobile liability, environmental impairment liability, casualty (including marine insurance), property insurance, and other lines of insurance appropriate for concessioners and other commercial operators in the NPS. The permitting instruments include concession contracts, commercial use authorizations, real property leases, and special use permits. Commercial services include hospitality services with overnight accommodations, food and beverage services, retail, and guided recreational activities, including mountain climbing, horse rides and rafting trips. The Service assigns concession facilities and leases structures that range from large historic structures to residences. Northport also provides business advisory support to assist the Service in managing these activities.
